Tresa Jordan is impressing many in the music industry and her latest single - "Danny's Song" - demonstrates why.
She has an excellent voice and great presence on her songs.
Sadly, this mix leaves Tresa's voice overwhelmed by the backing which - although the backing is expert and excellent - is a shame.
What's strange about this track is that though you'll know the song as soon as the chorus starts, you probably won't know it was called "Danny's Song".
It debuted in 1966 on the one album pushed out by "The New Tweedy Brothers". Kenny Loggins - who wrote the song according to ASCAP - put out dozens of versions of the song but it was Ann Murray's cut, in 1973 which made it so familiar and which led to more covers by Sonny & Cher and many others!
My View: Already making waves in the Roots Music Charts, this lady's here for the long run!
