Eric Durrance : Angels Fly Away

Singer meets down-and-out on street, chats with him; finds the poor guy giving him huge words of wisdom about Jesus and Heaven and the notion that "Angels Fly Away".

That's the story (an old one) which Eric Durrance is pinning his career on.

Durrance can surely sing and he puts emotion into the song so I may be being overly cynical in dismissing it too quickly.

I have no doubt that many will find succour and comfort in this song. But I'd bet they won't be numerous enough to give it any chance in the charts!

My View: Good debut. Needs a newer idea.
