Fisher Stevenson : No Tomorrow Here Tonight

Stevenson's label may be hoping the anthemic chorus to this up tempo debut will strike a chord in young folks hearts as summer rolls in.

I can see their point, but whoever mixed the thing ruined the plan. The backing merges too closely with Stevenson's vocals and their's no light and shade, no depth, no perspective.

Astonishingly, when the backing drops off so that it's almost just Stevenson singing and a bare-bones backing, the levels stay the same. BIZARRE.

This, I'm afraid is one of those songs which will be remembered as that "who was that guy who sang that thing about, you know...'Crazy'?"

My View: Trash it!
