Carter's Chord  :  Different Breed

Carter's Chord's bluesy tight harmony singing is great, but it should come as no surprise at all that it doesn't even bear a passing resemblance to Country music.

This is pop music at it's very best, and I have little doubt it will make waves in the mainstream charts.

My sadness is that Toby Keith's Show Dog Nashville label sees fit to market it to Country stations. He made his fortune from Country music, but now shows it absolutely no respect at all.

If folks like Keith keep marketing their discoveries as Country, the genre will disappear. I guess money rules!

My View: Best pop act I've heard Faith Hill!
