George Strait : I Saw God Today

"I Saw God Today" is the next number one single for Country's top singer, George Strait.
It hit the charts running, at number 19, and my bet is that by Friday, it'll be in top slot, and staying there awhile.
It's the lead off track from his forthcoming album, "Troubador" and it Strait proving that he's one Country's finest singers.
The tune is VERY plain: but it's the lyrics - written by Rodney Clawson, Monty Criswell and Wade Kirby - that give the song it's extraordinary quality.
It's about God, and the most telling line comes in the chorus: "His fingerprints are everywhere".
The album promises some fascinating material. And, as usual, it'll hit the charts at number one on April Fool's day!

My View: Next week's number 1.
