The Levy Band - Devil Plays For Keeps
My PICK OF THE WEEK

Don't know who Tita is, but she's a friend of Greg Stricklin and he's a friend of mine and ANOTHER friend told me about this song so I took a listen.

There have been a raft of songs about the world financial meltdown and they range from the humorous ("Bankers" by Martyn Lewis) through the earnest to the down home. ("Shuttin' Detroit Down" by John Rich).

But none have captured the feelings like this one. We're (most of us who didn't pick up a huge bonus) are angry. We're confused. We don't give a "buck" except we don't want to lose our homes or jobs.

And The Levy Band capture ALL of that in 3.49 of pure honky-tonk Country music.

And sales of the song - which is going to radio as I write - will go to help people suffering because of the greed and devil-may-care recklessness of the banks and governments around the world!!

So I heartily recommend you seek out the song video and take a listen. Tita's vocals are brilliant and if you don't blink, you get to see my friend Greg's fingers.
