I'm astonished that ANYONE would put this out in ANY genre, let alone pretend of a millisecond that it bears any relation to Country Music.
Phrases like tuneless rant, punk rocky horror show, overcooked and underdone spring to mind.
It sounds like the sort of music that a bunch of teenagers might put together in their bedroom. NO: on reflection, most teenagers would do better!
It's a great sadness. Moorer is a very talented singer and a superb writer.
This is NOT a reflection of the artist we knew, and if this is where she wants her music to go, I wish her bon voyage and bye-bye!
