Patty Loveless has been gone too long and it's brilliant to hear her wonderful voice again.
Taken from her upcoming "Sleepless Nights" album, "Cry Baby Cry" is 2 minutes 18 seconds of pure Country joy and it might just make some waves on "Country Radio".
They face a problem: on the negative side (from their standpoint) it's real Country music with fiddles, pedal steel, and a real tune; it's upbeat and catchy. They don't play THAT kind of music.
But on the positive side (again, from their viewpoint) it's over almost before it begins and that means MORE TIME FOR ADVERTISING!!!
Ain't holding my breath but it should make the charts.
