 April Taylor's new single could be the song which sees her establish herself as a new artist with staying power. Her last single made 21 in the Music Row Break out chart: this could do much better.
It's Taylor's vocal style which strikes me every time I hear her songs. She has a sweet, gentle voice and just about at the point where I think "she should be singing pop songs", she crashes into all out Country. It happens every time: sheer brilliance!
This is a message of what a girl's gotta do: when the chorus breaks out, it's almost anthemic and you just have to sing along!
With good grace, thousands, perhaps millions will do just that.
My View: Can't wait for the album. NICE ONE APRIL!!!
