Heartland : Slow Down

If they're not careful, Heartland, will become the "sentimental" band of the year.

Trouble is, they do this stuff so VERY well. Their debut single two years back ("I Loved Her First") was a brilliant song about a little girl growing up.

Now, they've turned the same trick again.  The vocals are great, the harmonies tight as, the fiddle and guitar work (though spread a little wide on the stereo spectrum) superb.

And the downside: they do the other stuff so very BADLY! when the album comes out, they'll wreck it with up tempo numbers that they just don't seem able to get right!

My View: Minor hit, major song!
