Cowboy Crush seem to have realised a fundamental truth with their new single, "Tougher Than A Man".
That is that the best way of selling Country music is to have great songs and to perform them well.
If "Tougher Than A Man" is anything to go by, Cowboy Crush have got over their mini skirts and sex-appeal sales technique and worked out a fundamental truth:
The song is brilliant: YES it's another song about how tough life is for single moms, but this one hits the right tone, includes some of the harsh truths, is REAL!
I suspect that this COULD be one of the songs of 2008. It's only problem will be to get airplay. Radio stations are already speeding up tracks to squeeze them between ever larger advertising breaks, and this might not take kindly to that treatment!
