Jason Matthews : That's What Mamas Do.

The greatest songwriters can take one phrase and turn it into a song which rings true to millions of people.

They hear something someone says and it's like a bell rings in their head and they say to themselves: "Wow, that's brilliant."

I'd lay good money that the bell rang when someone said to Jason Matthews - "That's what Mamas do."

Because he's produced just over four minutes of absolutely brilliant Country music from that short phrase. And with Mothers Day in the US on Sunday, this will ring true with millions.

What really pleases me about the single is that Jason has finally claimed something of his own for his own. Instead of finding some top star to sing the track, he's done it himself.
