The story is that so many people were calling radio and requesting this song after Morgan posted it on his MySpace site that the label rushed it to radio early.
Hmmmm! I have my doubts. I think Morgan's new label was keen to stamp it's mark on their new star signing.
They've succeeded. BNA's production has sterilized the life out of the guy! Where once the vocals were close up and real, now they're compressed to hell and lifeless.
The backing used to be sparse and Country. Now it's full-on Sony-BMG movie orchestra and so jammed with sounds that it's become a mushy mess. It's all a sign of where Sony want their new man to go - straight to the pop charts!
Sadly, I'm NOT looking forward to his next album. BNA will make certain it's no where as good as his last.
My View: Big label wrecks music of great singer. Surefire number 1.
