Rodney Atkins is one of Country brightest stars, a record breaker and a very fine singer.
His new single, "Invisibly Shaken" - written by Atkins and Billy Kirsch - is a wonderfully emotional song though some may dispute it's "Countryness".
Certainly the arrangement borders on Nashpop, but it squeezes past my cynicism of such songs because of Atkins' amazing vocals. He puts every ounce of his heart into the words and that's something no pop singer I've ever heard ever does.
Atkins is the first artist since 2001 to have four #1 singles from one album on Billboard's Country top 20. Tim McGraw was the last, but back then, he was a Country singer too.
My View: Superb: Don't bet against a fifth number one from the album!
