Bucky Covington will have a hit with his new single, "I'll Walk".
It's a very good song, sung very well by a young man who's finally learned how not to sing through his nose!
Ok: while I'm talking about one of Lyric Street records "stars", I'm going to ask a question I've been asking the label for two years now.
Where's Sarah Buxton's debut album? Lyric Street evidently think Covington is a better singer, better commercial prospect than Buxton.
And I keep asking where the album is because, having heard the rushes, I KNOW that Buxton is one of the best singer songwriters Nashville has produced for YEARS!
So come on Lyric Street: ANSWER the question!
My View: Covington's good. Buxton's BRILLIANT!
