Neal McCoy : Rednecktified

On his new single Neal McCoy tells us that he's "been singing Country music since before it was pop."

Which proves he's not only one of Country Music's stalwarts but that he also recognizes how the industry is trying to wreck the genre.

"Rednecktified" is the first single he wrote himself and I have to say, it's a fairly standard "I'm a hillbilly, I'm proud of it" song.

McCoy lists all the things "they don't teach you up in town", from a variety of pickling methods to cow-tipping.

City folks may need a dictionary of redneck terms to follow the meanings of the song.

It may be a hackneyed subject, but McCoy does it better than most who try.

My View: Yup, this guy is the real McCoy!
