Last year, Montgomery Gentry released a superb album and - as usual - missed out on all the major awards for duos.
With that injustice behind them, you'd have thought they'd keep pushing out good quality music.
Sadly, this single suggests that they've missed the boat. The tune's hackneyed and boring and the lyrics have been done and done and overdone.
Worse, they sing it like they really don't know the song at all, it bores them, and they'd rather be someplace else!
They sound like they're reading the lyrics through dark glasses, and when the producer asks one of them to laugh at the end of one line, it sounds as hollow as the Grand Canyon!
