Rascal Flatts are a superb band. BUT...the are a pop combo, not a Country outfit!
Oh, once, many years ago, they were Country...just!
But the Disney desire for dollars, and the lure of mainstream sent them off on a new track, and it's time Country radio recognized that for fact!
Their music graces the coffee tables of high powered New York record label execs who, in moments of green-eyed envy, set off hunting for the "next Rascal Flatts" so that they too can cash in on pop music fans' love of Nashpop.
And we who love our Country music are forced to listen to it once an hour, every hour on every "Country" radio station because they are too afraid to bin it in favor of a track by Hank, or Waylon, or Merle or ....well a COUNTRY SINGER!
