The Dash

Got an e-mail from Todd Crase today. For those new to Rodeo Attitude, Todd, Mark Ficken, the late, Diane Davis and I founded Rodeo Attitude years ago. Our mutual love of the sport and the "cowboy life" has always been the driving force behind this project. It has not always been easy. In fact sometimes it has been down right hard. Well back to the e-mail. It was a link to an inspirational reading I am sure you have all heard at least once. It is called "The Dash" and refers to the dash that comes between a person's birthday and the date of their death. As I was re-reading this poem I thought of the part of my dash that is represented by rodeo and the cowboys and cowgirls I have met. It has been hard but how lucky can I be to have all of you in my dash. A big Thanks to al of you and Todd!
