There are many things to be thankful for but for me I want to share a very special some one I have to be thankful for. Today my husband, Larry, and I will celebrate 40 years of marriage. The road has not always been smooth. We have lived through our share of difficulties from our sons farm accident that cost him his arm to having our grandchild Elizabeth died at bith. There has been a farm crisis and the lost of our first farm and all our equipment. Larry has endured three major surgeries and survived colon cancer. Through all of this my husband has never gave up and has always been there for everyone, friend and family. I remember many times when we farmed that he would spend hours out in the cold scooping others out in the winter time. He would just say, "I got my tractor out with a loader anyway to feed the cattle," and off he went.

Through the years he has been active in 4-H helping not only our children but others as well. He would do without so that he could take the family to the fair. Somehow he managed it so that with hardly any money the kids got to go to Walt Disney World. I don't think they ever realized what he did to make that happen. Despite everything life has thrown at us he has kept us on course and held us together..

When I got involved with Rodeo Attitude the attitude continued. He has ran more errands for producers, stock contractors and contestants at events than I can count. Many times missing the event so that a contestant could get on the road again to make the next stop on the tour. \

When Rodeo Attitude needed funding he believed in the good it could do and put everything on the line for it. He has truly been the "Wind Beneath My Wings". So this Thanksgiving I will give thanks to God for the greatest gift he gave me here on earth - Larry!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
