The following message was posted by Bert Davis on the message boards:

"Donnie Martin, Bullfighter from Cottonwood California, was seriously injured last weekend at the California High School State Finals, in Bishop,Ca..
He was trying to separate bulls in the back pens from fighting when he was hit and knocked down to the ground; his head hit the ground very hard.
He is in the hospital in Reno,Nevada with a very bad brain injury. He is in critical condition, but stable.
Please keep him in your prayers, and I was asked for folks not to contact the hospital, because it takes away from his care. Also please don't contact the family, as they are overwhelmed with this situation. I will keep you all informed as we get the info from the doctors and family."

Bert will be posting to our message boards at www.rodeoboards.com.

Thank you.
