Grief Counselors Available For Cowboys and Cowgirls[Jan. 26, 2010] The last few weeks, no the whole last year, has been a time with many sorrows in the Midwest rodeo family. In just the last few days we have lost Cody Stephens, Joe Garretson and now Jason Clark. Many were still adjusting to the untimely deaths of female bull rider Alyssa (AJ) Vanderhoff and Iowa Rodeo Cowboy Association’s Rich Gheer lost in August; in June we lost Rodeo judge, Thad Ita, his wife, Tricia, and son, Jacob, who were killed as the result of a car crash; and bull rider James Andrew Graber who was also killed in a car crash after an event on January 24th, 2009. Also in all our prayers is bull rider Michael Mincy who is in a coma following another car accident. By Cindy Meyers and Ann Brumback, Rodeo Attitude [In Cindy's Announcements]

A Little Boys Prayer[Jan. 4, 2010] Something to Laugh About and Think About:
A Little Boy's Prayer: "Dear God, please take care of my daddy and my mommy and my sister and my brother and my doggy and me. Oh, please take care of yourself, God. If anything happens to you, we're gonna' be in a big mess." [In Cindy's Special Thoughts]
HAPPY NEW YEAR![Dec. 31, 2009] From all of us at Rodeo Attitude we wish you a very Happy New Year. 2009 will go down in the recordbooks as one of those years we all wish we could put behind us. The year started with bad economic news all over the place followed by unreal weather in almost every corner of the nation and the news full of stories about two wars. As a nation we have had to pull together in many ways more united than we have been in a very long time. Maybe that will be the legacy of this past year. Tomorrow we start a new decade. Let us all start it with faith, hope and charity, as the song says that is the way to live successfully! May your hearts be full of love and may 2010 be the true beginning of the best time of your life! By Cindy Meyers, Rodeo Attitude [In Cindy's Special Thoughts]
Merry Christmas – “Cowboys Of Faith”[Dec. 24, 2009] Over the last few days I have prayed for an inspiration for the Christmas message I would post on Rodeo Attitude. This morning I was given the direction to go. There is a DVD called “Cowboys Of Faith” that Rodeo Attitude endorses. It is a very, very good video by some of the most outstanding cowboys and cowgirls in the rodeo industry. I could never express as well as they do the meaning of faith and what being a true Christian means not just on Christmas but everyday of the year. By Cindy Meyers, Rodeo Attitude [In Over The Fence]
Rodeo Attitude Supports New Film "Gold Score"[Dec. 22, 2009] Terrance Alan is a long time member of the Rodeo Attitude Program and is currently the co-producer of the upcoming film "Gold Score". The film has gathered the support of many individuals in the rodeo and entertainment worlds along with that of many Christian. In an all out effort to begin production in January the non-profit organization is asking for donations to finalize the funding of this worthwhile project. The following letter was received by Rodeo Attitude from Terrance Alan. If you are looking for a worthy cause to make a Christmas donation, this may be the place.
