The article starts "CNW/ - The Vancouver Humane Society (VHS) is asking Christians in Abbotsford, B.C., whether Jesus Christ would condone the treatment of animals in the city's Mighty Fraser Rodeo which starts this week (July 31-August 4)." My answer - I am aware of no other sport where Christianity plays a more promineint role. From the prayer at the beginning of each performance to the Cowboy Minstries Jesus Christ is regularlly asked to be present at rodeo events. He sees into the hearts of the cowboys and cowgirls and knows their love for the animals they compete with. What would Jesus think - No one knows but my guess would be that Jesus loves cowboys and cowgirls.

In my opinion it is so sad that an organization that started out with so much good - the Humane Society - has in recent years became a tool for animal rights fanatics that in reality are the true enemy of animals.
