Meeting Jinx and Clayton Cullen - One of my life's big events!

I got to meet Jinx! The world is full of celebrities. For me I have read Jinx’s post on first Fried Twinkies and now on Gibson’s site and have not only enjoyed them but learned a lot from them. Needless to say, I was ecstatic when who was the first person I ran into at the Des Moines Classic – Jinx!

I arrived on Thursday morning to do research for an article I am writing on the PBR, I was having trouble finding the proper door to use to enter the building. Seeing a man walking next to the semis at the loading docks I introduced myself and asked for directions. “I’m Jinx. I visit your site all the time.” How wonderful to start a project with someone giving you a big smile and praising your work! Jinx showed me in helped me find Clayton Cullen, Sr. Vice-president of Production for the PBR. By the end of the weekend I had come to admire Jinx even more. His friendly smile and wonderful attitude is a joy to all.

I am going to publish a rather detailed story on the production of a PBR Built Ford Tough Series event. After watching Clayton Cullen in action for three days I was completely amazed at his attention to detail and the respect he shows to all on the production crew. When I walked out of the building on Saturday night I felt that everyone with the PBR had shown our staff the utmost respect. The most important thing I learned during my three days behind the scenes of the Des Moines Clasic PBR was the quality of the people who make it all happen and their whole-hearted effort to make your time at an event a lifelong memory.

Thanks Jinx and Clayton!
