Bull caught, killed
[Oct. 24, 2006] This is such a sad ending to a story that should have never happened. Why anyone would think letting a bull out of a pen was a way of seeking revenge is beyond me. Any animal of this size becomes dangerous when put in an unusual situation especially when tormented. I hope they find a way to charge the offender, I hope he has to pay for the bull and the cost of hunting him down. He might find out getting mad doesn't come cheap! By Angela Evans

Injured horses could cost Humane Society more than $50,000
[Oct. 6, 2006] Cindy's Comments: This accident in Missouri just highlights the reality of a very serious issue. Horse slaughter. I love horses as much as the next person but the reality is, they are livestock. There is not one thing different between a horse or a steer except that as humans we ride horses and tend to treat them as pets. If someone sends an animal to slaughter there is a reason and spending a lot of money that could be put to other uses is just another example of the twisted morality into days world. Can you imagine how many homeless children in America could be helped with this much money. Do you realize that the money is most likely going to come from an insurance company that will raise it's rates or cancel someones policy. I feel for the horses but they are not the real victims here. Just my opinion. Read the article and comments. I welcome your opinion on our message board or e mail me.
