Independence Day!

Recently on the Tonight Show they asked several people on the street why we celebrated the 4th of July. Shockingly very fe people really knew why! Maybe we need to stop calling it the 4th of July and go back to calling it Independence Day. Maye then people will remember the true meaning of the day. It is not about big celebrations and camping trips. It is not about fireworks and carnivals. It is about celebrating with all our gusto that we are a FREE nation. Freedom that was won for us by our forefathers in the Revolutionary War. Freedom that has been protected by countless American soldiers in wars fought all over the world. Fought on foreign soil so that those who would take away our freedom never made it to American soil. Maybe if we remembered a little more about why we celebrate on the Fourth of July and that there are still people who would take this freedom from us we will celebrate this freedom with a renewed patrotism nd joy in our hearts!

Hope you had a wonderful Independence Day.
