Ellerman, Is he a Hero?

I am sure rodeo fans would rather have the sports writers of America writing about the great family values found in rodeo than the fact that the FBI is investigating Troy Ellerman. First, key word, investigating. They have not released their findings. Second, I know Josh Peter and I feel he went out of his way to point out the postive side of Troy Ellerman. Third, whoever did leak the story about the steroid use in sports blew the lid off of a very serious problem. Was it done in the proper manner? That is for the FBI and the legal system to decide. In all this mess one thing that has not been said, no one in rodeo has been accused of being a part of the illegal drug use. Is Ellerman a real life "Shark" as portrayed in the new TV series who ultimately sees that justice is done? Time will tell. Will we keep you posted on the story. Yes. Bad or good, you have a right to know. I love and respect the sport of rodeo and the thousands of members of the PRCA, but I would not be doing my job, nor would Josh Peter, if we did not report the news.
