Lineville, IA - On Saturday February 28th Dave Friedel and his family were out of town when they received a call that their home was on fire. The fire damage was limited but the fire department asked is there anything special you want taken out of the smoke. Dave wanted his two trophy saddles protected. Sadly when the arrived at their home the firemen were still there but they had found no saddles!

While the cause of the fire and the theft of his two prized saddles is under investigation we are putting out a plea for anyone who may have information regarding the fire or the whereabouts of these two saddles to call Dave Friedel 660-748-5953

Stolen Saddles:

Billy Cook Saddle - 1987 IRCA Champion Bulldogger

Buford Veach Saddle - 1997 Finals Champion Steer Wrestler

In a phone interview with Dave he says they are not allowed to be in the house yet but they were doing fine and he just really wanted his saddles back. Please keep your eyes open for these saddles.
