Folks
There has been a lot of interesting things happen in the PRCA the last several days, all we can do now is move forward, but I have sent this email out to all and I hope you all forward it to the rest of the Contract Personnel in the PRCA.
The things that happen in the last day or two was brought on by your contract personnel executive council that I am the At Large Director and Chairman of that council.. Also I am Chairman of the National Convention, which I thought the 2006 Convention was great.
The election is coming up and I am asking for your vote. I know awhile back that I was going to step down, it wasn't rumor, I was fed up with dealing with the office on what I feel are important matters that concern Contract Personnel. But with calls and emails I have decided to stay on the council, and now I believe our council is probably the strongest that it has ever been.
Folks, let me tell you our council has worked damn hard on a lot of matters, but the last several issues are BIG.... The last several days your council have been physically, mentally and emotionally drained...But we did what we thought was right!!!!
I would also like feed back from everyone on ideas to make the 2007 Convention better, we have some great ideas working, and I feel they are going to happen. I fought hard for suggestions you all have presented me and I plan to continue on with your help and ideas.
I want you all to know, when I was elected at the At Large Director, I was told that the council had one conference call during the year and they meet in Vegas, You can contact your reps, Mark, Benje, Duane, and Barb, and I am sure they will tell you it was me that wanted more meetings, and with me being Chairman it was a done deal, even when Arron told us not to use the conference phone line that much. BS
We are as important as the cowboy, and I will continue on if I am re-elected.
