'Goodbye' to Eddie Arnold

A statement from Royal Wade Kimes -

"I lost a good friend today. Mister Eddy Arnold was the reason for any success I may have achieved in the world of music. I could never thank him enough for his hand in my life. Not only did I lose a friend personally, but America, the World, lost one of the greats, one the likes of which we will never see again.

He was given to us by God to brighten our world for a while. It is now time for the 'Tennessee Plow Boy' to go home to rest. To be with his lovely bride, Miss Sally. There will be a void in my life, as there will be for America. He will be missed always.

Eddy recorded a beautiful song once titled, "I Wanna Go With You", now he surly can. Until I see him again, I will say, good-bye."
