Bull rider, Joshua J. “Cody” Brunner, 21, of Warrensburg, MO .died Saturday, November 3rd as a result of injuries received while competing in the final round of the United Rodeo Association Finals being held at the Kansas Expocentre, Topeka, KS. CLICK HERE FOR NEWS ARTICLE AND VIDEO
Cody's death was not covered by insurance and funds are desperately needed to help cover the cost of his final expenses.
We want to extend a huge thank you to all of those who have already helped with Cody's funeral. Words cannot express how we feel to see this industry come together in a time of need.
A memorial sticker shown here will be available for contributions at Cody's Benefit Rodeo. The stickers were donated by Horse World Design, sign maker to the PBR, the PRCA and others.
UPDATE ON BENEFIT:
C R McKellips is hosting a Cody Brunner Memorial Rodeo at Midway Expo Center, Columbia, MO on Sunday, Nov 18 at 1:00 PM (this will follow their two day event on November 16-17 at the same location) The rodeo will be sanctioned by both the MRCA and the URA. There will be $100 added money per event. There will also be an auction. All help and product needed for this event have also been donated. 100% of proceeds will go to the Brunner family
