R. Todd Crase co-founder of Rodeo Attitude and founder of the Extreme Bullriding Tour along with LoriDee Meyers, Rodeo Attitude Vice-President, were 2 of 25,800 people that set a Des Moines record, participated in the Susan G. Komen Walk For The Cure in Des Moines, Iowa on October 24, 2009. For the past several years the Extreme Bullriding Tour has raised approximately $5000 per year for the Susan G. Komen Foundation at their events by holding 50/50 drawings. These drawings were the brain child of Extreme Princess, Abby McDonald, when her friend, Sara Delgado , was diagnosed with breast cancer. Sadly Sara became one of the many victims of this terrible disease and it is in her memory that Todd walked this year. LoriDee walked in honor of her great aunt, Betty Myers, who was just diagnosed with breast cancer on October 9th and who is just beginning her fight against the disease.
Since Rodeo Attitude and the Extreme Bullriding Tour (which Rodeo Attitude is the presenting sponsor) joined in the fight against breast cancer Cindy Meyers, CEO of Rodeo Attitude, states that they have not met anyone who does not have someone that is either a close friend or family member who has been effected by this disease. "We have as one of our corporate sponsors Purple Cowboy Wine which is owned and operated by the founder of the "Tough Enough To Wear Pink" organization another group that works for the awareness and cure of breast cancer along with the Wrangler Corporation. Both companies raise money for the cause each year and we are proud to partner with them in this endeavor. Through Todd Crase and the Extreme Bullriding Tour we were made aware of the work that needed to be done and we are now joining with others in the rodeo industry to do all we can."
