Fort Worth, Texas (September 14, 2009) ~ Tickets are on sale now for Championship Bull Riding’s (CBR) Tour Finale to be held in Kansas City, MO October 30 and November 1. The Carter Electric CBR Tour Finale is in conjunction with the American Royal and is the final stop of the 2009 Ride It Out Tour, presented by Mahindra Tractors.
The 2009 CBR World Champion will be crowned at this season finale. Bull Riding icon, 4-Time World Champion, Tuff Hedeman will host the show where CBR’s top 40 riders in the world will compete. The top prize of $ 10,000 is on the line, but an additional $ 300,000 in bonus money will be awarded to the TOP 15 year end riders with $ 100,000 of that going to the 2009 CBR World Champion.
CBR returns to Kansas City for the first time since the 2004 World Championship where Kemper Arena was host to capacity crowds. The 2009 venture marks the first time CBR has teamed up with American Royal. The American Royal will celebrate its 110th season this fall. Championship Bull Riding is now included as part of a prestigious line up of events hosted by the American Royal that include the world’s largest barbecue contest, one of the Nation’s largest livestock exhibitions, one of the top five ranked rodeos in the Nation, Nationally recognized equine Western entertainment events and the UPHA National championship horse competition.
