CBR Horizon Series Travels To Springtown, Texas This Weekend
Fort Worth, Texas (November 16, 2009) ~ The CBR Horizon Series will travel to Springtown, Texas for the third event of the 2010 season. The Munden Invitational Bull Riding hosted by Resistol is this weekend, Saturday November 22. Forty of the riders competing for cash and prizes include 3 CBR Champions. Newly crowned CBR World Champion Hugo Pedrero, 2007 Champion Bonner Bolton, and 2005-2006 Champion Matt Austin along with current standings leader Ardie Maier and CBR favorite Cooper Kanngiesser are just a few who are trying to get an early jump on the 2010 Season.
Ardie Maier of Timber Lake, SD is the current 2010 standings leader, followed by newcomer Clint Lewis and Oklahoma Native, Tate Stratton. Prior Munden Invitational Bull Riding Champs are Colby Yates (2000), Cal White (2001), Colt Munden (2002), Matt Austin (2003), Byran Richardson (2004), Ronnie Kitchens (2005), Zack Brown/Rocky Brown (2006), Pistol Robinson (2007) and Jake Mann (2008). The winner this year will not only receive a cash prize but also a Colt 45 Pistol and a Resistol Hat. Tickets are $8 at the gate and start with a BBQ at Noon and will end with a performance by Texas County artist Scott Hall.
