It was a Sunday to remember if you were in attendance at the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals presented by Wrangler. Sunday afternoon in Vegas came early for some but the boys were ready to deliver something special to the sold out crowd of 18,200.

First of all, for those of you that read my news and notes prior to round 5 I'm happy to report that I thought I would bet on the amount of rides we see tonight and by golly I was dead on. It was 24 bull riders that made the whistle and you had to be in the 90 point class to get the share of the money on Friday night.

I just wanted to update a few of you going into tonight’s round 5. Last night we saw a new Dickies Dura bull fighter from Canada. Jesse Byrne has replaced Joe Baumgardner from last week’s accident and there will again be four lifesavers on the floor of the Thomas and Mack arena.

It was reported late last night that there were 2 injuries that needed to be addressed going into the Friday night's round, L.J. Jenkins was listed as probable and has been cleared as of 3 pm pacific to compete.

The Professional Bull Rider Inc. (PBR) is proud to announce the recipient of the 2008 PBR Stock Contractor of the Year, Chad Berger and Clay Struve. The pair won the prestigious award for the second consecutive year which is determined annually by a vote of the top 45 bull riders in the world. It was announced at the 2008 PBR Stock Contractors Banquet which took place earlier this week at the South Point Hotel and Casino.

The second weekend of action kicked off Thursday night at the Thomas and Mack and finding a new wave of fans has not been hard find. Tonight’s crowd hovered around 12,000 and this weekend the PBR will crown a one million dollar champion in the world finals. The check hasn't been written out yet but Guilherme Marchi is doing what he can to. However, the Brazilian is having to ride his best because there is an American bullrider from North Carolina that is trying to grab a buckle at the end of this 2 week period.

It was announced November 5th during the annual ABBI stock contractors banquet that Chad Berger Bucking Bulls along with his partner Clay Strueve would secure a second buckle from the PBR World Finals.
