Ninety-five-year-old Russell Wile has just gathered up 3,000 bales of hay. He drove the tractor and gathered up to 520 bales a day on his property just outside New Germany...He got the job done with help from his 64-year-old son. The work was done in time for Mr. Wile to make it to the South Shore Bluegrass Association's 25th anniversary celebrations this week. He plans to arrive Thursday and stay until Sunday.

In an American free-market, voluntary church environment, we'd all do well to scan the pews (or hay bales) of our own churches and see who we've joined ourselves to. My hunch is that we'd find we're probably not much different than our cowboy brothers and sisters in seeking out our cultural kin.
