The reigning CMA Male and Female Vocalists of the Year, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, will unite to host "The 42nd Annual CMA Awards." This is the first time that either artist will have hosted "Country Music's Biggest NightTM." "The 42nd Annual CMA Awards" airs live from the Sommet Center in Nashville, Wednesday, Nov. 12 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Here's something country fans probably didn't see coming. In July, Blake Shelton, one of country's hottest acts, did a remake of a song by Canadian jazz/pop singer Michael Bubl. And, probably no surprise to Bubl's fans, "Home" has been a No. 1 hit for Shelton.

When they helped organize the first Farm Aid concert in 1985, Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp had no idea they'd still be hosting the annual event more than two decades later. The 2008 Ride & Rock for the Troops will be held on Saturday, September 27th. This annual motorcycle ride will begin at 2:00 pm at Appleton Harley Davidson in Clarksville and wind through the beautiful Tennessee countryside. The ride will have several stops and will end at a 140 acre farm site in Adams, Tennessee. There will be music throughout the afternoon and evening with LoneStar as the headlining act.
