:: Education and Relief Organizations

Rodeo Attitude Endorses The Following...
The following organizations fall into two categories.  Educational and Relief/Crisis Funds.  They all have non-profit status and welcome your assistance.  Rodeo Attitude salutes these organizations and the volunteers that work tirelessly to provide their services.

Chad Carlson Memorial - Cowboys Against Drunk Drivers - Division of the Rodeo Attitude Program dedicated to the memory of Chad Carlson and all the other cowboys and cowgirls who are killed yearly by drunk drivers.

Cowboys and Kids - Provides educational programs for youth at schools and events

Cowboy Promise - The Cowboy Promise (Make a Cowboy Promise) is an anti drug program, founded by country music entertainer, DeWayne Spaw, that focuses on telling America’s youth Don’t Use Drugs!

Farm Aid - Dedicated to the preservation of the American farmer and rancher.

Friends of Rodeo - Dedicated to the preservation of rodeo by protecting it from animal rights cellists who would have the sport outlawed and educating the public.

Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund - The JCCF’s premise is to lend a helping hand to professional rodeo athletes and their families in the event of catastrophic injuries resulting from professional rodeo activities. The fund fills the void of financial hardship when the inevitable serious injury interferes with the careers of those who have dedicated their lives to the sport.

National Day of  the Cowboy - MISSION STATEMENT

To promote awareness of the National Day of the Cowboy so that its celebrations and ceremonies achieve national stature, thus ensuring renewal of the proclamation by the United States Congress in 2006 and each year thereafter.

National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association Foundation - Provides scholarships for students involved in rodeo.

The Resistol Relief Fund benefits everyone involved in the sport of bull riding including those who compete in the youth, high school, college and professional ranks as well as those who work in the bull-riding industry.

Rodeo Contestant Crisis Fund, Inc. - the goal of the RCCF is to assist all rodeo contestants and their families when an injury, illness or death befalls them.  Our mission is to provide financial support to lessen the impact of such a devastating event in their lives. This financial assistance is not necessarily for the injured contestant's medical expenses but is immediate funds to help keep food on the family table and roof over head.

Western Wishes - award-winning national program focuses on granting wishes to children and young adults who are critically ill, severely injured, or physically challenged. Western Wishes unites these inspiring children and young adults who love the western way of life with their heroes and role models.

Booster Clubs and Rodeo Support Groups

Oklahoma State University Rodeo Association Booster Club - The OSU Rodeo Association Booster Club works in cooperation with Oklahoma State University to provide financial support for the OSU Rodeo Association Team members.
