It is my understanding that he wrote this shortly after being diagnosed with Alzheimers. makes you believe that he wrote this to make sure he told the love of his life how he felt before he was unable to.
Glen is one of my musical heroes. What a voice? A true star. I have loved him since the 60′s.
I heard this for the first time today and fell instantly in love when I heard Glen singing it. I just knew it couldn’t be anyone else.
Here’s a great song that deserves tons of airplay. But instead when I turn the radio on I hear mostly junk. Get with it people!

Glen Campbell could cover ANY song, and make it better, or at worst as good. as.
He is a a true music legend in his own lifetime.
I really hope he keeps going, and nails a few 1,000 more tracks that we can all enjoy.

Actually I sold this short after hearing the full version with Billy Corgan and Brian Setzer playing guitar on this as well. It’s my favorite song these days.
