Get your facts straight boy! Officially speaking, the Lakers have 16 NBA titles. However, Phil Jackson has 12 Championship rings because he also has two as a player (with the N.Y. Knicks). However, about half of Phil’s coaching titles are (highly) tainted, especially those with the Lakers. In fact, 2002 was an obvious FIX as Sacramento was kicking the Lakers ass until the refs stepped in. No, I don’t hate L.A. , I grew up there, and I was a Laker fan back then (the 80′s).
i’ve heard so much complaining from Laker fans, the Lakers got out played, beat and embarrassed. Dallas was hungry and they wanted it, plain & simple.

Thats great and all..But the Mavs haven’t once said they hold the potential to win it all. They’re a humble team as far as i can see, and Im not a Mavs fan at all..But Im sorry, 11 championships and you go out like that..Pathetic.I could care less if the Mavs lose the championship(if they make it), that was the worst I’ve EVER seen from former champions, to act like such children..

The Mavericks didn’t blow any games in 2006. Wade flopped 500 times and got 64 FT’s in 3 games. The Mavs only lost those games by a total of 6 points.
Why did they call the flops? At the time Mark Cuban was always getting fined and his response was always that the league could keep fining him because it’s just a cost of doing business. Stern knew they couldn’t fine his bank account enough so they fined him on the court.
