Bullriders
of America - Fort
Madison, Iowa was the site
of this years BOA
Finals. Curt Check
reached his goal of
repeating as both the Year
End Champion and the Finals
Champion. Curt's last
three weeks made the
difference. Jeep
Steenhoek was in the lead
when he was sidelined with
injuries three weeks
ago. It was a case of
nothing could go right for
Jeep and Curt was at the top
of his form. Curt also
won the high ride of the
finals award. White
Buffalo Productions, owned
by Todd and Tammy Crase of
Winterset, Iowa, was once
again named the Producer of
the Year. Double S
Bull Company was voted Stock
Contractor of the
Year,
One
of the highlights of the
event was the presentation
to Brett Pettyjohn,
bullfighter, and R. Todd
Crase, producer, their Gold
Cards making them lifetime
members of the BOA.
Todd has served on the Board
of Directors since the
establishment of the BOA and
Brett retired as a
bullfighter this year.
The
event was such a great
success that the Fort
Madison committee and the
BOA are proud to announce
that they will once again
jointly produce the 2006 BOA
finals on August 4-5, 2006!
