JW's Bio Press Release

J.W. Kinder
Professional Rodeo Announcer
“Truly the Western Choice for your Rodeo Voice”
Born in Fredericktown Missouri in 1966, Jeffrey Wade or as he is known as “J.W.” spent a few of his early days growing up in the badlands of Murdo, South Dakota. By the tender age of eight his parents (John & Joyce Kinder) found themselves headed to the cowboy country state of Wyoming settling in Casper.
J.W. would attend Elementary, Junior High and graduate from NCHS in 1985. After a couple of years attending Casper Junior College and studying to become a secondary educational teacher, one afternoon with his cowboy buddies, he found himself climbing down atop a 1,500 pound bucking bull named “Alligator”, which consequently changed his life forever. “I was hooked instantly!” he recalls about that day.
After many successful years of competition inside the arena (1986-1996) riding bulls with many of pro rodeo’s greats, it was one fateful day in November of 1995 that his career in the arena as a contestant would take a change forever. A devastating injury ended his career inside the panels and behind the chutes.
His heart for rodeo never changed and it was that injury that sent him on a career path which would find him behind the microphone at an amateur rodeo in September 1998 announcing his friends and traveling partners. Never looking back, his love for rodeo ensued and a new career began.
Nowadays, the professional rodeo trail finds him gone around 250 days a year announcing various events in premier associations like the PRCA, PBR, CBR and many others. Since September of 1998, J.W. has announced over 900 performances, however he'll tell you that it has not come without a tremendous amount of hard work, dedication, passion, great advice and the incredible support from his family and friends. When he is not on the road rodeo’in, he can be found at home in Casper, Wyoming enjoying some down time.
J.W. Kinder is also very well known for his expertise in big game hunting and his true love of Wyoming's great outdoors and wildlife. It has been that love that led him to start his own big game outfitting company called “Cowboy Country Outfitters of Wyoming.” In the fall, when he is off the rodeo circuit you will find him enjoying his other passion of hunting big game in the beautiful mountains of Wyoming. J.W. loves nothing more than sharing that passion with avid hunters, sports men & women and looks forward to each season with new clients as well as old. J.W. is always overheard saying “get on over here to hunt the cowboy state, you will not be disappointed!”
Whether it's the quest to announce your rodeo or hunt trophy animals in Wyoming, he looks forward to the challenges that life continues to bring and promises to work hard for you and your event.
