Practice pens in WA?
Hi all. I know I posted some locations and contact info back on the old forum, unfortunately I forgot to write them down for myself before it crashed
(doh). Does anyone know of any and have contact info? I know there is/was one in Roy, Battleground (?), Ellensburg and somewhere above seattle (??).
Thanks in advance!

the first one you were talking about is in Ridgefield it is run by a gal named Kim the number is 360 887 4148
Some people say that the cowboy is a dieing breed, then some people just dont listen.
You are only human, flesh and bone, you bruise, you bleed, and sometimes you break. And while forces beyond your control impose new scars on top of
old ones you know they will never harm what is on the inside. Mental Toughness, Courage, and a competitive drive that taunts nature 8 seconds at a
time.
You can sit and talk about what you have done, or can do, but those words dont mean a thing until you get you butt out and proove it

I know of three practise pens. One is in Ellensburg (Frank Beard) and the second one is in Selah (5 minutes from Yakima) and his name is Rod Chumley.
The third on has an outdoor arena so he can't buck until the spring and his name is Gene Hedden and he lives in White Swan which is about 20 minutes
from Yakima. Starting the last weekend in January Frank Beard in Ellensburg will be bucking every Saturday at about noon at the Ellensburg fair
grounds. Rod Chumley normally bucks out on thursday but hasn't lately because it's been too cold the past two weeks. (Around 10 degrees at night and
20 during the day) What part of WA are you from LuckOfTheDraw? I don't have their contact info on me right now because my cell is in the truck but I
can get them to you. My email address is blanchardar@yahoo.com

Thanks cwubullrider, I'll have to drop you a line. I'm out of Silverdale which is about an hour and a half west of seattle. So Ellensburg is a
possibility, but I think Yakima area is a little out of my range. I'd be going to practice shooting bulls not to ride them myself, and four hours of
driving to stand in the 20* weather...I dont know that I'm that devoted to my photography yet Of corse ellensburg probably isnt much warmer, its just closer
So Ellensburg hasnt started up yet? What was going on there last weekend, or maybe the weekend before? We had a guy come into the store (I work at
Charly Boots, the western wear store in Silverdale) who had got beat to heck by a bull in Ellensburg and I had assumed he'd gone to the practice pen.

Practise Pens
LOD there is no bullriding in Ellensburg right now. Much too cold. Simply put, that guy in your store is a poser and is lying about riding bulls.
On a more important note, do you have the contact numbers for the places that buck out in Roy/Battleground. Me and my buddies are going insane not
riding bulls and need to get on some. Until it warms up here nothing is bucking out. It's way warmer in your neck of the woods so we were hoping
that you'd know some places over there. Well anyways talk to you later I hope you can help us out.

Charlie Daniels
Dear Cowboyup1991. I just thought that you should know that your quote is not from Charlie Daniels. It is from Hank Williams Jr. So you should
change it immediately so mean people like me wont start making fun of you

Lol good to know, cwubullrider. Maybe I got the wrong idea from his answer, see I asked where he rode, not where he got the crap beat out of him. They
may have been entirely unrelated. Mean girlfriend perhaps?
I havent got the contact info for Roy unfortunately, its one of the ones I lost, and I dont think I ever found proof the one in Battleground existed
(heard about it from another poser, I wanted to go shoot but the ******* wouldnt give me good directions ) I'm going to keep looking though and I'll let you know my findings.
