Just A Note From Dustin
Updated March 5th

3-5-08

We have made it to the second cut of the 2008 PBR season. I am now in 13th place in the points after a 2/3 split this past weekend in Baltimore, MD. I rode good these past few events with an 89.5 in St. Louis and 90.5 in Balto. I am healthy for the most part, except this stupid shoulder of mine. It feels really good when I am riding but when I land on it funny, it will slip out of the socket and it hurts for a couple days and then be fine. It hasn't effected my riding any.
I went to Phoenix, AZ on Monday March 3 for a promo for VS network. There were 900 excecutives from all over the country there for meetings and a company party. The PBR gave them a short demo of what bull riding is all about. There were 12 of us that got on bulls and it we run just like a televised event. It turned out really good and I had a lot of fun doing that. They paid the top 3 scores and I was third, so I landed a little cash out of the deal too. The sponsor search continues as well. I have had some interest from all sorts of companies but not yet landed anything. Hope you are all doing well and I will chat at ya later.

The first set of events flew by. I have not ridden as many bulls that I would like. Well, if you haven't ridden 100% you haven't ridden as many as you like. But I made the first cut and still sitting good. I am working on merchandise as we speek. Rigged-Out.com is getting me set up. They have many other riders in their program and it is successful. I am also working on some ball caps. I will let you know when that turns out. The sponsor search continues as I have not landed a primary deal yet. However Bowtech Archery is new to the team and negotiations with Wrangler Jeans and Justin Boots are finalized and are still here. So support my sponsors if you have a choice. Well, off to California this week and on and on. Talk to ya when I get a chance

There have been some big changes since the PBR Finals. I no longer have some sponsors and looking for new. I am really excited about the new season. Healthy and hungry. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
