Jeff
& Jaymie Reynolds would like to announce the marriage of
their son, Seth Reynolds to Lacy Tatum.
Seth and Lacy were united in marriage
Saturday, October 1, 2005
at
Deer
Lake
, the home of Mitch and Kelly Wardle with approx. 200 guests
in attendance. Park
benches and hay bales were sprinkled amongst the tree covered
hillside for guests as they arrived to the site by hay wagon.
The aisle was a cedar lined path through the woods with
candles leading to a stone laid ledge over looking the lakes
cove. The
groom’s party dressed at the Reynolds home and were the last
to arrive on the hay wagon along with Seth parents.
The groom’s party wore Black Western cut tuxedos.
Groomsmen were Josh and Jesse Reynolds, brothers of the
groom. Austin Reynolds, nephew and ring bearer carried the
rings on a bull pad and friend of the groom, Jason Boyd
escorted Seth’s Lab, Trace down the aisle.
The Matron’s of Honor, Sarah West and Ryan Lund,
sisters of the bride wore long burgundy dresses and carried
sheaths of wheat tied with raffia and burgundy ribbon.
The flower girl and niece of the bride, Mikayla Lund
carried a fern covered basket and tossed flower heads on the
cedar path. Lacy
wore a beautiful beaded lace white gown with a full train; her
bouquet consisted of multiple fall flowers tied with raffia
and burgundy ribbon. After
the service a flower and bird seed toss took place as the
couple made their way to a utility “mule” decorated with
white streamers, cans and a “Happily Ever After”
sign and then driven to a secret place in the woods where a
bench and frozen lemonade awaited them.
After the guests were escorted back to the Busted R
(home of Jeff & Jaymie) Seth and Lacy returned for their
photos with their wedding party.
At the Busted R guests were treated to a full course
smoked brisket dinner while photos were taken by air.
Guest’s tables were sprinkled with candles and
sheaths of wheat. Several thousand small clear lights were
strung on fence rows, buildings, trees and above the dance
floor. The couple
enjoyed their own table complete with a chandelier over head.
Their table was dressed with silks, linens, and china
belonging to Seth’s grandparents. The center piece of their
table was a 3 tier wedding cake with a bucking bull cake top
and Seth’s bull rope around the outer base. The cake table
beside the buffet held Seth’s groom cake of a Bucking Bull
and a large 3 tier cup cake cake.
Jeff Tatum’s Country and Western Band entertained
until
midnight
along with a mechanical bucking bull for guests to ride, and a
10 minute memories movie/slide show of Seth and Lacy was
enjoyed by all. The
couple’s first dance was “Carrying Your Love With Me”
and was accompanied with fireworks.
The couple ended their evening by leaving in a mass of
bubbles. The
couple and some guests returned the next morning for a full
breakfast and “Cowboy Church Service” given by; Wild Wayne
West of High Point Productions and Dan Stiles, Western
Ministries. The
couple honeymooned at Clear Springs Guest Ranch where we
decorated the room with candles and asked the hostess to
sprinkle rose pedals throughout. Seth and Lacy currently
reside in
Golden
City
; Lacy is a 3rd Grade Teacher at Lockwood
Elementary and Seth is completing his Bull Riding Scholarship
at
Fort
Scott
College
and rides with the NFPB, CBR and PBR circuits.
