Amanda Bowman of Ozark , Arkansas and Jody Newberry of Ada , Oklahoma were united in marriage at 4:00 in the afternoon on June 5, 2004 at Calvary Baptist Church in Ozark , Arkansas .  Todd Pierce, the minister for the PBR Outreach, officiated the double-ring ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Mori Lee designer gown with crepe satin and embellished with organza, pearl beading, and lace.  The chapel length train was saturated with pearls, organza and lace, as well.  The bride wore a veil that was mid-back length and a tiara as the head piece.  She also wore a pearl a pearl necklace that was her great-great grandmothers as well as a pearl bracelet and pearl earrings.  She carried a bouquet of calla lilies.  The groom wore a traditional black tuxedo with a white shirt and black bow tie.  The groomsmen and ring bearer also wore matching tuxedos.

Serving as maid of honor was Lindsey Bowman, sister of the bride.  Bridesmaids were Sunni Umpires, Avery Kuykendall, and Katessa Rofkahr, all friends of the bride.  Shaylea Bowman Newberry, served as the flower girl.

Serving as best man was Cody Newberry, brother of the groom.  Other groomsmen included Dink Carlos and Luke Young, friends of the groom, and Michael Bowman, brother of the bride.  Aaron Cable, nephew of the groom served as the ring bearer.

The ceremony was decorated with ivy and magnolias. Two seven-tiered candelabras were used as lighting as well as a Unity candle, which was imprinted with a Calla lily design.  Wedding colors were pale yellow and light lavender.

A county/bluegrass style reception was held at the fair building in Ozark.  A local bluegrass band entertained the guest.  The catered event served over 200 local people.

The couple visited Waikiki Beach , Hawaii for a week and now resides in Conway , Arkansas while the bride completes her college education.  The groom continues riding bulls for the PBR and other circuits.
