First
of all I would like to welcome you to my website. I hope that you
enjoy it and come back to visit again.
I
am a 27 year old bull rider. I am affiliated with the PBR, CBR,
NFPB, NABA, and other small sanctions. It was in these smaller sanctions
that I began riding bulls. I started riding when I was 15 years
old in the OJRA (Oklahoma Jr Rodeo Association).
Most
importantly, however, I am a Son of the Father. I was saved at a
young age and called to be an evangelist at the age of 12. I am an
ordained minister. I enjoy spending time ministering to others on
the road and every other opportunity I get. Life has not always
been easy for me. I have had my struggles, but through everything,
God has stayed by my side and helped see me through the bad times.
Thank God for his Grace that surpasses all understanding; for it is this
grace that has set me free!!!
God
has blessed my life in many ways. In 2003 I won the average at the
PBR World Finals as well as Rookie of the Year. With the money I
won at the finals, I started a business with my brother and dad.
We own "Newberry's Excavating, LLC" in
Ada
,
OK
. God has continued to bless me. I finished third in
the world this past year and placed 6th in the average at the finals.
I look forward to each ride I make and enjoy the challenge of getting on
the best bulls in the world every weekend.
God
has also blessed my life with a wonderful family. On June 5, 2004
I married my best friend, Amanda. She has a daughter, Shaylea,
whom I have adopted as my own. Our son Trevor
James Newberry was born on August 9, 2005.
We are currently living in
Conway
,
AR
while Amanda completes her college education in speech pathology.
Originally, I am from

OK
. I have two wonderful parents, a twin brother, two older sisters,
2 nieces and 3 nephews. I am also blessed with wonderful in-laws
who have accepted me as their own.
