Having the words, World Champion Bullfighter, behind your name is something to be proud of, but it is proving every time you enter the arena what those words mean that makes Jerry Norton who he is.  Anyone who has watched Jerry in the arena can bear witness to his extraordinary skills as a cowboy protector.  If they were lucky enough to witness one of his freestyle bullfights they can tell you why he won the freestyle World Championship in 1998.  Very few men can claim this honor and Jerry didn't just leave it lying on the mantle.  He has used his title to help promote worthy causes not only in his home state of South Dakota but across America.  He has made his life both in and out of the arena an example for not only young bullfighters and cowboys but for children of all ages.

Each year Jerry works a full schedule as a bullfighter and rodeo clown.  He is the Northern Regional Director for the Rodeo Attitude Program and has been a driving force behind its extraordinary growth of this informational and networking group in the rodeo and Western world.
