The following rules and proposals were voted on:

RULE PROPOSALS

For a rule proposal to pass it must receive a 2/3 majority vote.  67%

 

OPTION OF RULE:

1. An experienced judge shall not be required to

    attend a  clinic if given prior board approval.

   Written tests may be required or  waived at board’s  

    discretion.

   1a.  All new judges must apprentice at least one

          rodeo with an experienced judge.

   1b. After apprenticeship is complete, the new judge

         will either be approved or denied by the board.

 membership to hit more rodeos, than ever.

Once a contestant has crossed the plane of the

 gate, the contestant can not exit the arena to

 set back up then re-enter or contestant will be

 disqualified.  The judges decision is final.

The contestant is allowed as many assistants as

 Necessary to get to the gate.  The assistant(s)

 can not cross the plane of the gate or the contestant

will be disqualified.  Judges decision is final.

Any calf roper that is eligible to compete in open

And Over 40 must designate which event they are

 entering  at an IRCA approved rodeo.  Only one

event may be entered at a time at a rodeo.
