NEWS November 2006

LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Hello everyone,

Well once again the finals has come and gone!  Many of the year end champions were decided on at the finals.  Despite the weather on Saturday and Sunday the finals went really well.  There are so many people to thank for all they've done to help that I can't begin to list them, but if you helped out at all to get ready for the finals or at the finals it didn't go unnoticed, I greatly appreciate it.  Just want everyone to make note that we amended the bylaws to change the date of our banquet this year to the first weekend in February due to availability of the place we are having it.  We will be having it at the Best Western in Marshalltown , Ia.   We will be giving full details in the next newsletter.

The rules that passed are in this newsletter so make note.  Also Ed Waldhauser did take the judging director position and will be getting a clinic together in the spring.  There are several new directors on board that will be taking over after the banquet and Gary Comer will be taking my position so congratulations to all the new directors.

Take care for now,

 Michelle Waldhauser

IRCA President

From the Secretary

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU TO ALL IRCA MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES

FOR YOUR  HELP DURING THE YEAR AND THE FINALS. ALSO,  THANK YOU TO RHONDA BROWN AND THE BARREL RACERS FOR THE GIFTS I RECEIVED AT THE FINALS.

Danrcie Ulin-Reck - On behalf of the family and friends of Darcie Ulin-Reck, we would like to thank the IRCA and everyone involved with the 2006 Finals at Osceola.  Your dedications, prayers, tributes, and generosity were greatly appreciated!  Unfortunately, our beloved Darcie lost her battle, and we lost her September 12, 2006.  We know Darcie was there in spirit, riding with you, looking after the stock, and yes, playing in the mud Sunday!  Darcie would have been so proud to see you all wearing purple and riding in to that arena for her!
The world has lost a precious friend, and God has gained a perfect angel.  May God bless you all!
The Ulins, Recks, Sandifers, and Sinnifs
